Reminder of State Report Requirements -Due 5/21 or 5/26

State Reports are due May 21st or 26^th. The packet must be complete. Students must have a backdrop (trifold) that includes a map of the state, the state bird, the state seal, the state tree, the state flower, the state flag, and 10 facts about the state. The facts need to be in complete sentences that are clear and informative. The state maps and symbols should all be drawn, but students may include printed material that helps illustrate their chosen facts. Students should prepare and practice an oral report that teaches the audience about the state. The oral report should be at least two minutes.  This report will be delivered to the class and at our state fair. Students can also dress up or display items that relate to their state. The state fair is on the 28^th at 1:30.  Parents are welcome!! Students will be presenting in class prior to the state fair.
